It is used in combination with a matching dovetail or U‑frame foundation such as FR‑31B, FR‑31Q (elongated) or FR‑32B/A, ensuring a strong and reliable connection between the container and the vessel’s deck structure.

It is used together with FR‑31, FR‑31B, FR‑31Q (elongated), double FR‑32/A, or FR‑32B/A foundations positioned at 45 degrees, ensuring a precise and secure fit.Thanks to its point‑load design, the B‑46 is engineered to transfer stacking forces directly and efficiently into the ship’s lashing foundations, providing optimal stability even under high dynamic loads and in challenging sea conditions.

The CONTECH® dovetail or U‑frame line load twistlock B‑55L is a bottom twistlock designed for securing ISO container corner castings on board a vessel. It is used in combination with a dovetail or U‑frame such as FR‑47, FR‑47BQ (elongated), or a double FR‑48B/A positioned at 55 degrees.
Unlike a standard bottom twistlock, the B‑55L features a longer shaft. This extended shaft allows the twistlock to correctly engage the container’s corner casting when positioned in the deeper recesses of a line load hatch cover. For this reason, the B‑55L is specifically intended for use in line load hatch covers only and should not be used in shallow or standard dovetail foundations.
The CONTECH® dovetail or U-frame side twistlock B-57 is a bottom twistlock used in combination with a dovetail or U-frame FR-34, FR-34BQ (elongated) or a double FR-35B/A of 55 degrees to secure the corner castings of containers on board of a vessel. The twistlock is to be used when the sliding direction of the dovetail foundation is rotated 90° to the longitudinal direction of the container
