Connect lifting wires (2 x 2 legs) to the cranehook. The legs should not be twisted.
Connect wire (with main spring) of shifting gear to cranehook (only for semi‐automatic use).

2) PICK UP CONTAINER:
Position spreader on top of container. Using the guidance plates.
When all guidance plates (3) are in contact with the container, the spreader is correctly positioned.
Lowering the spreader on top of the container will lock the twistlocks.
Sign shows “locked” to the crane driver.
► The container can be lifted.
All 4 twistlocks should be locked, container weight should never exceed SWL of spreader.
Guidance plates can only be used for standard ISO‐containers (no extra long or extra wide containers).
3) DISCHARGE CONTAINER:
When container is placed on its position, the crane hook is to be lowered to slacken the wire of the shifting gear.
When sufficiently lowered, the sheave will be at the lowest possible position (position 2).
Lifting the wires again will unlock the twistlocks.
Sign shows “unlocked” to the crane driver.
► Spreader can be lifted.
