SB-5 ISO bottom stacker

The CONTECH® ISO bottom stacker SB‑5 is designed to transfer the horizontal shearing forces from ISO containers into the vessel’s supporting structure. These stackers are inserted directly into the ISO holes of the vessel’s double bottom, forming a secure interface between the ship and the container’s lower corner castings.

Thanks to their standardized ISO geometry, SB‑5 stackers ensure precise positioning of the first container tier and help maintain alignment throughout the stack. This prevents movement during heavy weather, rolling.

Typical applications include:
