FF-9 Half Flush Elephant Foot Lashing Point with Collar

The CONTECH® FF-9 Half Flush Elephant Foot Lashing Point is a recessed deck fitting with a half pot design, welded into the vessel's deck structure. It is primarily used in combination with elephant foot fittings, web lashings, chains, or Speed King turnbuckles for cargo securing.

The FF-9 is specifically designed for RoRo vessels, where it is typically installed along the sides of the vehicles decks in the longitudinal direction. Its flush construction minimizes deck obstruction while providing a strong and reliable anchoring point for securing vehicles, trailers, and other rolling cargo. Due to this specialized arrangement, FF-9 lashing points are predominantly found on RoRo ships and are only rarely used on other vessel types.
