The CONTECH® FF‑9A Half Flush Elephant Foot Lashing Point is a heavy‑duty weld‑in deck fitting designed for securing cargo on board vessels. The fitting consists of a half‑flush elephant foot with an integrated pot underneath, which is welded directly into the ship’s deck, creating a strong and permanent lashing point.

The half‑flush design allows the elephant foot head to remain easily accessible while minimizing protrusion above deck level, reducing the risk of damage and improving safety during cargo operations. The welded pot beneath the deck ensures optimal load transfer into the ship structure, making the FF‑9A suitable for demanding marine environments.

The FF‑9A is used in combination with elephant foot webbing, chain assemblies, or Speed King / turnbuckle lashing systems, providing a flexible and reliable solution for securing wheeled cargo, heavy units, and RoRo cargo.
