FR‑71B Single Raised ISO Foundation

The CONTECH® FR‑71B raised ISO deck foundation is a welded structural component designed to provide an elevated ISO socket on the vessel’s deck. By raising the ISO interface, it ensures correct container positioning and improves clearance in areas where deck structures, camber, or drainage systems require additional height.

The foundation is welded directly to the ship’s deck and is engineered for long‑term durability in harsh marine conditions.

Key features:

• Standard height of 110 mm, with custom, non‑standard heights available up to 160 mm to accommodate various deck geometries or securing layouts
• Designed for use with ISO bottom twistlocks, including:
  • Wide‑body manual twistlock T‑2
  • Semi‑automatic wide‑body twistlock T‑5/SB
• Compatible with multiple securing devices, such as the Turnfoot D‑ring LE‑3 and various other twistlock types
• Robust welded construction, ensuring high structural strength and resistance to dynamic loads during sea transport
• Precisely machined ISO socket opening for reliable engagement with twistlocks and removable securing devices
