IP-04-195 Intermediate pressure support

The CONTECH® IP-04-195 intermediate pressure support is a combined stacker and pressure support, designed to improve lateral load distribution during container transportation on board vessels. Installed between the side of a container and the vessel bulkhead, it provides controlled force transfer and enhanced cargo stability.

This intermediate pressure support is used where direct container-to-bulkhead contact is not permitted or not sufficient, helping to manage and divide shear forces generated by cargo movement during sea transport. By spreading these forces over a larger support area, the IP-04-195 contributes to reduced point loading and improved overall securing efficiency.
