RR-31D Car lashing with buckle coated hooks
The CONTECH® RR‑31D is a standard car lashing system with a breaking load of 2 tonnes, designed for the safe securing of vehicles during transport. It is equipped with two coated hooks, reducing the risk of damage to vehicle attachment points and providing a secure connection to deck lashing points.
The lashing is manufactured from 25 mm woven webbing and is tensioned using a centre buckle, allowing quick and controlled tightening. This makes the RR‑31D suitable for efficient vehicle securing in ro‑ro and car transport operations.
When securing vehicles with aluminium wheels, a car loop type RR‑40 is often used to provide additional wheel protection. In this setup, the car loop is placed around the wheel, and the hook of the RR‑31D lashing is attached to the loop, preventing direct contact between the hook and the wheel.
The RR‑31D is commonly used for passenger cars, light vehicles and similar applications, where secure, damage‑free lashing is essential.
