The CONTECH® S-99/TEL telescopic actuator pole is a lightweight tool designed for the operation of semi-automatic container twistlocks.
Its telescopic design allows stevedores and terminal personnel to reach and unlock twistlocks positioned high in a container stack. The S-99/TEL can be extended for use on container stacks up to 13 metres high, reducing the need to access the twistlocks directly.
The actuator pole provides a practical solution for container handling operations on board vessels and at container terminals, where semi-automatic twistlocks need to be released during container discharge operations.
