The CONTECH® T‑5/LIFT Semi‑automatic Lifting Twistlock is a dual‑purpose solution designed to both secure two ISO containers and enable safe lifting operations. It combines the functionality of a standard semi‑automatic twistlock with an integrated lifting capability, making it suitable for handling specific container configurations where controlled lifting is required.
When a container is placed on top of another, the semi‑automatic mechanism engages automatically under the container’s weight, locking the cones securely into the corner castings without manual intervention. This ensures efficient and reliable container stacking during loading operations.
In addition to its securing function, the T‑5/LIFT is designed for lifting applications with a maximum working load limit (WLL) of 10 t, allowing containers or container assemblies to be handled safely when used in accordance with lifting procedures.
With a breaking load of 50 t, the unit offers robust strength and durability, suitable for repeated use in marine and terminal environments. Its construction ensures dependable performance under demanding operational conditions.
