The CONTECH® Z-8/2 is a storage bin designed to fit the CONTECH® Z-8/20 20' flat rack. With dimensions of 1300 × 1140 × 750 mm, the bins are used for storing twistlocks and other loose container lashing equipment. The dimensions and MK-8/20 compatibility are stated on the current product page.
The bins can be loaded with the required lashing gear and placed in the flat rack. During container operations, the complete flat rack can then be positioned near the working area, giving stevedores convenient access to the twistlocks and other lashing equipment they need.
This provides a practical way of keeping container lashing equipment together while allowing the gear to be moved to where it is required on the terminal or vessel.
An optional blue tarpaulin is available for covering the bins. The tarpaulin shown in the product image is not included as standard.
