The CONTECH® FR-22 Raised Breech Base Foundation is a deck-mounted socket designed for securely locking ISO containers and providing versatile lashing arrangements on vessels, offshore units, and industrial installations. The foundation is welded directly onto the deck and is commonly used in combination with the CONTECH® B-22 Breech Base Bottom Twist Lock to secure container corner castings.
The breech base design allows the twist lock to be quickly inserted and locked with a simple turning movement, ensuring safe and efficient container handling. In addition, the FR-22 socket can accommodate the CONTECH® LE-12 Breech Base D-Ring, creating a strong removable lashing point for securing cargo and equipment when container locking is not required.
